Role overview

The primary goal for the Retention Account Manager will be to increase customer retention and boost performance for CarGurus customers in the UK. You will work closely with the Dealer Relations Account Managers to analyse common causes of retention and provide concrete solutions to help drive down company churn. As a seasoned sales professional, it is crucial that you are persuasive and self-motivated with strong negotiating skills. You will handle your own time and priorities while meeting monthly goals.

Our growing customer base will have various questions about CarGurus, so strong customer service skills, the ability to listen and respond to dealers, and resolve all queries in a timely manner would be key for your success. You should have strong analytical, presenting, and problem-solving skills. The Retention Account Manager will have retention-focused sales numbers along with an expectation of upsell and cross-sell attempts.

The displayed range represents the expected annual base salary / On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position. On-Target Earnings (OTE) is inclusive of base salary and on-target commission earnings, which applies exclusively to sales roles.

Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and other factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This annual base salary forms part of a comprehensive Total Rewards Package. In addition to benefits, this role may qualify for discretionary bonuses/incentives and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
