Retail Marketing Manager

As a Retail Marketing Manager, you will own marketing initiatives bringing brands to life in third-party retail environments. The team comprises a small group of innovation-minded marketers dedicated to growing our tech clients' business by driving the adoption of their consumer-targeted devices. You’ll be focused on reinforcing this mission by owning retail programs end-to-end and reporting/KPIs. 

This is a hybrid role that bridges both regional and local marketing expertise. As the Retail Marketing Manager, you will lead the work to create the best-in-class customer experience of hardware products and services at Singapore carriers and retailers. This includes the physical touchpoints at the stores and online touchpoints at the retailer's websites. In addition, you will support APAC Retail Go-to-Market workstreams to enable local retail teams, including retail planning and tracking.

Role:

  • Program manage new product launches for Singapore’s top partners.  Oversee all aspects of new product launches, from initial planning to execution and post-launch analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with the Singapore marketing lead to identify and understand the unique challenges faced by carrier partners. Develop and implement strategic solutions leveraging the products to address these challenges effectively.
  • Gather and analyse data on user and partner behaviour, preferences, and feedback. Utilise robust analytical techniques to generate actionable insights and fact-based recommendations to optimise marketing strategies and product positioning.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all campaign-related matters, facilitating communication and collaboration among various internal cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and logistics.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute the creation and deployment of merchandising assets for both in-store and online shopping environments. Ensure consistency and effectiveness of messaging and visual presentation across all touchpoints to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
  • Program manage APAC retail go-to-market workstreams including retail display forecasting, asset adoption and retail fixture tracking.
  • Consolidate country insights for launch reporting and internal newsletter to drive visibility of best practices and innovation.
  • Drive insights sharing through GFK and other sources to equip country marketing and cross-functional teams with the knowledge for planning.

You: 

  • BA/BS degree preferred, or relevant industry experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in telco, retail, merchandising and/or omnichannel marketing is highly preferable.
  • Strong program management capabilities, highly organised, and excellent stakeholder management and partnership capacity. 
  • Experience in retail production and a strong eye for design aesthetics are required.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and techy work environment.
  • High energy and go-getter attitude coupled with a flexible mindset, teamwork and dedication to the project's success.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to support the projects spanning across JAPAC.
