Job Purpose:

 

Retail Maintenance Support assists the Retail Maintenance Manager for the maintenance of the Retail sites within VESN. More specifically, the role is to:

 

  • To coordinate maintenance of Retail sites per Group/ Vivo maintenance management guidelines/ strategies
  • To deliver maintenance of retail sites as per agreed SLA /KPIs
  • To ensure that repair / maintenance of retail sites are done in line with Group/ Local government HSSE policies & safe practices.
  • Support Retail Maintenance Manager in all projects.
  • Ensure compliance with the Vivo HSSE policies and through them, by contractors.
  • Support Retail Maintenance and Construction Engineer to drive and manage the strategic relationship with PMC at Market level.
  • Provide the Scope of Work for maintenance works under his/her direct responsibility.
  • Attend the monthly Performance Improvement meeting with PMC team to review the project/programme delivery including spent, milestones and HSSE and agree action plans to improve project/programme delivery performance.
  • Escalate unresolved and systemic issues to the Retail Construction and Maintenance Engineer
  • Ensure that any alterations and improvements done by the dealers are compliant with Shell standards
  • Ensures smooth operations of Retail sites in terms of safety & operational requirements in such a way that risk to the business is minimized.
  • Put in place service contracts for all maintenance categories
  • Supervise maintenance works to ensure they are carried out within agreed quality and time
  • Ensure maintenance SLA with Retail Operations are met at 100%
  • Keep records of maintenance asset per group template (Equipment register template), and shall update records from time to time
  • Identification and sharing of maintenance best practices
  • Abide by HSSE & SGBP rules

Key Challenges:

 

  • Ensure HSSE compliance in situations whereby maintenance contractors are working at sites located far away from the base and spread across the country.
  • Ensure operational integrity of facilities (buildings) and commercial installations versus limited spend
  • Deliver maintenance service level/ KPIs
  • Continuously monitor and impulse contractors’ performance enhancement
  • Ensure that critical equipment maintenance is fully performed in SAP

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Qualifications:

·       Engineering degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.

·       Proficient in the use of standard PC application programs.

Experience:

·       2 to 4 years of experience in the development and/or maintenance of retail / Industrial infrastructures.

·       Professional maintenance experience and a solid understanding of the Retail business are advantageous.

·       Recent graduates may also be considered.

·       Working knowledge of retail and plant engineering.

·       Familiarity with environmental standards applicable to retail facilities.

Good understanding of Shell’s HSSE policy and related requirements for development and maintenance activities.
