This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional to join a highly respected establishment, supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in delivering outstanding dining service and leading an engaged front-of-house team.

  • Salary: £31,586 per annum
  • Start: Immediate
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent
  • Location: Henley-on-Thames
  • Schedule: Rotational shifts, including evenings and weekends

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in coordinating day-to-day restaurant operations.
  • Provide strong front-of-house leadership and uphold first-class service standards.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all areas.
  • Drive continual improvements in guest experience, service delivery, and operational workflow.
  • Support staff training, coaching, and performance development to ensure service excellence.
  • Act as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism, initiative, and a guest-first mindset.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Floor Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar role within an upscale hospitality setting.
  • Confident leader with excellent communication skills and a hands-on, supportive management style.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for delivering premium service.
  • Flexible, dependable, and comfortable working evenings, weekends, and key event periods.
  • Motivated, proactive, and committed to enhancing both team performance and the guest journey.
  • Must be able to drive to the location
  • Full UK Driving Licence required, plus experience across both bar operations and floor management.
