Restaurant Host/ess part time | Season 2026 | Villa Sant'Andrea, a Belmond Hotel

As a Restaurant Hostess at Villa Sant’Andrea, you will be the first point of contact for our valued guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. You will be an integral part of our team, using your warm personality and organizational skills to manage reservations, welcome guests, and ensure a smooth flow of service. Primary Responsibilities Include: 

• Warmly greeting and seating guests, managing the waiting list efficiently. 

• Handling all incoming calls for reservations and inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. 

• Coordinating with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely seating and service. 

• Maintaining a tidy and organized host stand and entrance area. 

• Assisting guests with any special requests or needs, such as high chairs or accessibility. 

• Providing information about the restaurant's menu, specials, and concept. 

• Collaborating with the entire restaurant team to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience. 

• Anticipating guest needs and proactively addressing them to enhance their visit. 

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Hostess or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a high-end restaurant setting. 

• A genuine passion for hospitality and providing excellent guest service. 

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken). Additional language skills are a plus. 

• Impeccable personal presentation and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
