Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview: The Residential Property Analyst supports the residential buyer's agency by analyzing potential property acquisitions and producing clear, well-structured property reports to assist client decision-making. This role works closely with the residential buyer's agents to ensure each opportunity is assessed thoroughly, consistently, and in line with internal investment criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse residential property opportunities, including pricing, comparable sales, rental assessments, and suburb-level fundamentals.
  • Prepare detailed residential property reports and investment summaries for internal and client review.
  • Review contracts, agent information, and supporting documents to identify key risks, assumptions, and considerations.
  • Work closely with the residential buyer's agency team to refine deal positioning and address client questions where required.
  • Assist with property research, suburb analysis, and portfolio-level insights to support acquisition strategy.
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems, templates, and CRMs as required.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and comparables.
  • Excellent written English, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, client-friendly format.
  • High attention to detail and a structured approach to analysis and reporting.
  • Prior experience in residential property analysis, buyers agency support, real estate, or valuation-related roles is highly regarded.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, CRMs, and property research platforms.
