Residential Appraisals and Valuations Underwriter

Location

This is a hybrid role. Our office is located at Arthaland Century Pacific Tower, 5th Avenue, BGC. This role requires going to our office at least one day a week.

The expected working hours for this position are from 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM, based on the Philippine Time Zone (PHT).

About the role

You'll analyze property data to support the Underwriter team in assessing collateral for home equity investments. Collaboration with Underwriters and Investor Operations will be key to ensuring high-quality analysis and risk mitigation.

Your responsibilities

• You will analyze the value of the subject properties we invest in (US residential real estate).
• You’ll the value of the collateral as presented by property valuation products.
• You’ll research the subject property and comparables using online sources including county records and information provided by real estate professionals and homeowners.
• You’ll work closely with the Underwriting and Investor Operations teams to ensure a high level of analytical quality.

About you

• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable presenting and defending analysis decisions.
• Excited about joining an early-stage tech company, interested in real estate, interested in fintech.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office or Google Sheets. 
• A desire to deliver an uncommon level of quality customer service.
• Flexibility in helping with other department tasks.
