Research Scientist/Technologist 

Opportunities 

You will be involved in the planning and execution of pharmaceutical development programs for innovative products for the company, and working with a team of professionals to develop platform technology for the company. You will also acquire understanding of the scientific knowledge and technical know-how required for pharmaceutical advanced formulation technology. You will build up strength in the competitive environment of local and global pharmaceutical industries. 

Requirements

What You'll Do

• Research based position to participate in company’s ITF project on oral care product. 

• Develop innovative formulation technology know-how of the company. 

• Transform the prototype into pilot scale and production scale. 

• Perform formulation physical characterization and biological evaluation of prototypes. Manage user trial of selected prototype. 

• Perform scientific literature search. 

• Manage experimental data, compile reports and prepare presentation. 

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

• Candidates with less experiences will be considered as Technologist. 

Who we’re looking for:

• PhD or Master’s degree or above in Dental Materials Science, Chemistry, Food and Nutritional Science, Food Safety and Technology, Chemical Engineering or equivalent discipline. 

• Hand-on experiences in oral care or food formulations are preferred. 

• Hand-on experiences in analytical chemistry are also preferred. Sense familiar with herbal ingredients. 

• Research experiences in formulation of nano-materials and bacterial assay are highly preferred. 

• Possess a can-do attitude, eager to learn new skills, positive mind-set, team spirit and strong problem solving skills.
