Key responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of product testing, including planning, packaging, shipping, and tracking of test units across internal teams and external testers.
  • Manage and track product inventory across internal and external storage locations to ensure availability.
  • Oversee testing schedules, timelines, and milestones, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Continuously assess and refine operational processes, introducing tools and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage contractors supporting product testing operations.

Data Management and Quality

  • Collect, clean, and organise large volumes of test-related data from various sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test activities, participant feedback, and data sets.
  • Adhere to the Product Score System guidelines to ensure accurate score generation and tracking compliance.

Collaboration and Compliance

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Editorial, Research, and the Telegraph Panel, to ensure the timely execution of testing protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, product safety, and internal standards.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Previous work experience in research operations, data analysis, or a related technical role.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and basic data management tools.
  • Comfort working with large datasets and maintaining accurate records.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

Desirable:

Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, Airtable, or Tableau).

Academic experience in Psychology, Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a technical/quantitative field.
