As a Research Marketing Analyst you will be part of an awesome team that has an impact on the strategy of our D2C business through learning about people. We are looking for a researcher who can think outside of the box, can tell a compelling story through their work, has a desire to want to help others, and is open to a and fun culture. A good fit is someone who considers themselves thoughtful, and team-oriented. We are looking for someone to complement our Consumer & Experience Research team. You will report to the Market Research Lead. You will blend remote work with in-person collaboration, with the opportunity to work from our North America Headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA.

What you'll do:

You will work directly with the Consumer and Experience Research team to support team member needs across the business. This includes understanding what their needs are, translating that into research goals, and assessing the right tools and methodology for research. You will support senior researchers by analyzing survey data, synthesizing data from secondary research, and analyzing qualitative findings for presentations. You will get experience using quantitative and qualitative research methods across different research disciplines.

  • Support Marketplace research lead with data collection and preliminary analysis
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance of research outputs
  • Maintain research repositories and monthly newsletter
  • Compile and analyze data from our brand health tracker and other large studies to provide insights on our brand and competitors
  • Be a compelling storyteller with the data and insights that come from the research
  • Partner with external resources/vendors to complete market research and data analysis
  • Develop a broad and rich understanding of industry/company trends by applying secondary data sources to help monitor and diagnose the brand/category and address business issues and information needs
  • Mine/analyze available data sources to further our team's understanding of the business/market to develop hypotheses, identify insights and guide our team's skills.

What your background is:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Political Science, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in market research, relevant financial/credit industry experience
  • Previous experience using Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable with presenting data and analysis to partners and management; ability to create and communicate the "story" in written reports, presentations, and by other avenues of communication.
  • Analytical, persistent, and comfortable sharing opinions and recommendations
  • Excellent project management skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
