About the Role

The Executive Partnerships team is a newly formed team at Dialectica, dedicated to sourcing senior-level Executives and Deal Advisors for clients across the investment value chain.

As an Associate in the Team, you will be an integral part of the Team, and will be at the forefront of research efforts, working to identify, meet, and to connect senior-level executives and Deal Advisors with our clients.

You will be joining an exciting new business unit with an ambitious mandate, where you will be encouraged to share ideas; take risks; and gain start-up experience within an established business and brand.

What you will do

The roles and responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Research, identify, and connect with senior-level executives to grow our network of Industry Advisors.
  • Fulfil deal and sector-specific research requests for some of the world’s largest Private Equity and Investment firms.
  • Track private equity activity and sectors of investor interest to help inform Advisor sourcing priorities.
  • Conduct granular research into those sectors and their value chains, identifying key organisations and executives within them.
  • Facilitate and schedule interactions between senior industry executives and our clients.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Dialecitica’s other product lines to identify areas of cross-sell opportunity and overlap.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, business, marketing, or a related field is often required.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills with proven experience in communicating effectively and building relationships quickly over the phone.
  • Be passionate about building a new product and excited by the unknown
  • Have demonstrable experience in researching and summarising content in English.
  • Be able to confidently and professionally interact with Senior industry executives
  • Have meaningful experience in telephone conversations with many individuals and lead these conversations with ease.
  • Have a strong entrepreneurial drive and desire to develop the product.
  • Be a results-driven team contributor who is able to effectively manage their time while maintaining a positive and “can-do” attitude.
  • Be able to thrive in hybrid remote and in-office environments.
