Job Summary:


The Research & Intelligence Unit of pcl. helps clients and stakeholders (internal and external) to make the best and most informed decisions through our Syndicated Industry Research Reports, Market Insights, Business Intelligence and robust Data Analytics Solutions.
The Research and Intelligence Associate is specifically responsible for providing research and intelligence services to clients and stakeholders (internal and external) to meet business objectives. The Associate may be required to lead specific projects as assigned by the Head of the department or any other leadership authority within the firm.

Job Description:

  • Conduct research and analyse data to provide actionable insights in developing reports covering various sectors in Nigeria.
  • Analyse surveys, emerging trends and business environments.
  • Provide robust market and industry research services to various clients’ needs.
  • Track and analyse key macroeconomic trends in the Nigerian business environment, distilling insights and implications.
  • Writing research summaries and compiling data into comprehensive reports.
  • Produce Thought Leadership on various topical issues in the business environment.
  • Employ problem-solving skills and data interpretation to understand and predict a given subject matter outlook.
  • Supports quantitative and qualitative research as dictated by Research objectives.
  • Remain fully informed on market trends and implement best practices.
  • Proactively identify ways to contribute to the firm’s goals & mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC experience as a Research and Intelligence Associate, preferably in consulting.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret industry trends
  • Good analytical and research skills with proficiency in(Excel, Power BI, R, Python) and other statistical and market trend tools.
  • Applying critical thinking to analyze issues.
  • Possess strong communication skills
