Repairs Technician II

$22 – $26 per hour

TLDR

Perform multifunctional support for various departments through repair, maintenance, and communication processes, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and internal controls.

The Repairs Technician II, under immediate supervision, is responsible for multifunctional support of various internal and external departments. The Repairs Technician I will be responsible for RMA repair, communication with customers and data management.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair fielded products once they are received in-house
  • Document, maintain, upgrade or replace hardware and software systems
  • Support and maintain account and data information about repairs
  • Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs
  • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures in coordination with FAA regulations Part 145
  • Program operational logistics and reporting support
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Some post High School coursework in Electronics
  • 3-6 years of experience working in a similar role
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within an electronics lab or FAA environment
  • Understanding of basic electronics and soldering skills, IPC 610 a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs
  • Working knowledge of ERP system
  • Working experience in an administrative or customer service role

Benefits

The starting pay range for this position is $22 to $26 an hour however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
