Repack Operator B - Days

TLDR

Contribute to a strong manufacturing team by efficiently filling and packaging products while adhering to safety and quality standards in a dynamic warehouse environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Required to follow all of Premier’s safety protocols while filling job orders to our Quality standards and procedures, including wearing Personal Protection Equipment at all times
  • Efficiently fill orders to clients’ specifications
  • Pack boxes with the appropriate number of units while verifying Quality standards
  • Stack correct number of boxes into the designated pallet pattern, and verify Quality and identification standards
  • Correct or communicate mechanical or safety issues to Operator A or Supervisor in a timely manner
  • Meet production output goals for assigned product or process
  • Follow correct procedures and tool usage for salt hanging
  • Responsible for housekeeping duties around work areas and general areas of the plant which may include sweeping, picking up debris, emptying wheelbarrows, or other containers, etc. as part of the 5S initiatives
  • Contribute ideas and process improvement suggestions to continuously improve safety, processes, and performance
  • Help create a strong team (line) through clear communication and respect
  • Participate in cross training to build a stronger more flexible team
  • Complete required trainings in a timely manner
  • Complete paperwork in a timely manner to cGMP standards
  • Always represent the company in a safe and professional manner while on company property or while wearing company branded clothing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively; ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Flexibility to work any required overtime
  • Availability to work 12-hour day shifts Monday – Thursday
  • Must have reliable transportation to work
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned 
     
    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
    • Required: High school level courses or vocational training classes
    • Preferred: High School Diploma or GED
    • Attention to detail and ability to read/write (English) and interpret numerical sequences, identify lot numbers, and to effectively communicate production issues
    • Two years previous high-volume manufacturing experience preferred
