Key Responsibilities:

  • Rent Collections:
    • Call, email, and follow up with tenants regarding rent payments
    • Document payment commitments and update tenant records
    • Issue late notices and coordinate with management on delinquent accounts
    • Maintain accurate rent collection logs and reports
  • Bookkeeping & Office Support:
    • Enter payments, invoices, and expenses into QuickBooks
    • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks
    • Maintain organized financial and tenant records
    • Support with work orders, scheduling, and general correspondence
    • Research permits, licenses, or compliance needs when required
    • Answer phone calls and provide professional tenant/customer support

Requirements

  • Proven experience in rent collections, accounts receivable, or property management preferred
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and basic bookkeeping principles
  • Strong phone etiquette, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive tenant information with confidentiality
  • Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Rent Manager, AppFolio, Buildium) is a plus
