Renesas Design Intern Engineer - Internship + Placement

Each student at Renesas is allocated a mentor from Renesas Design Staff. The student will work closely with their mentor as part of a larger design team. Students normally join Renesas over the summer for an introduction and start followed up by a long placement the following year. Renesas can be flexible about exact dates. Where possible, the student will take ownership of particular blocks which can be realised in silicon and tested in lab. The student will be responsible for documentation, specifications, timing diagrams, etc. They will make contributions to the layout and/or layout administrator of circuit blocks. Renesas has opportunities in Analog IC Design, Digital IC Design and DSP firmware. 

The initial placement will take place between June and August, exact dates and duration are flexible. Renesas office is in central Edinburgh (24 Elder Street, Edinburgh, EH1 3DX) 

UK intern rate is 25,500 GBP (gross) per annum.
