Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 + OTE (70-80% base + uncapped commission)

[Remote] Head of Sales (B2B SaaS exp req) Description
Our client in the SaaS industry is seeking a Head of Sales to join their fully remote team. This is a senior player-coach role for a proven sales leader who thrives in startup environments and can both close strategic deals and build scalable sales infrastructure. Reporting to the CEO, you will own sales strategy, execution, forecasting, and culture while serving as a key voice with executive leadership and the board. You will start with a small team of three and build a repeatable revenue engine, including playbooks, messaging, pricing models, dashboards, forecasting, and compensation plans.
To succeed, you must bring strong SaaS sales acumen. You know what “good” looks like in SaaS metrics (pipeline coverage, conversion, deal velocity, forecast accuracy), and you can coach a team to the same standard you hold for yourself. Ideal candidates are hands-on leaders who lead by example, and are motivated by long-term value creation rather than short-term wins. • Own revenue performance, forecasting, and sales operating cadence
• Carry an individual quota and close strategic, high-impact deals
• Lead SDRs and AEs with 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and coaching
• Build sales playbooks, messaging, and outreach standards
• Define pricing models and support contract and MSA review
• Design comp plans, quotas, territories, and performance expectations
• Maintain Salesforce workflows, dashboards, and data quality
• Partner with Marketing on pipeline health and demand generation
• Bring market feedback to Product and leadership for roadmap decisions
• Present sales results, KPIs, and plans to executives and the board

• 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales experience required
• 3+ years of sales team management (including SDR/BDRs) experience required
• Salesforce administration experience required
• Forecasting and revenue modeling experience required
