At Bright!Tax, we’re a team of adventurers—drawn together by a shared passion for solving complex challenges, delivering white-glove service, and empowering Americans abroad through world-class tax expertise. As we continue to grow, we’re searching for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who embodies our spirit: a steady, insightful technical leader who thrives on complexity, supports others with clarity, and elevates the craft of expat taxation across the organization.
About Us
Bright!Tax is an award-winning global tax partner to US expats in 200+ countries. We’re a dynamic, innovative firm that pairs deep technical knowledge with a human touch. Our team is a collective of curious, driven individuals who value autonomy, exploration, and the pursuit of excellence—all while supporting clients living extraordinary lives around the world.
The Role
As a Subject Matter Expert, you will strengthen the firm’s technical foundation, providing internal guidance, research support, and quality assurance across cross-functional teams. Your leadership will not be managerial in structure, but impactful, shaping the way our team interprets complexity, builds confidence, and grows collectively.
