The EA Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive EA training programs, including customized operating systems (OS) and training bootcamps, to transform EA trainees into client-ready Executive Assistants through hands-on coaching and performance monitoring.
This role serves as the cornerstone of FreedUp's EA development pipeline, ensuring every EA is equipped with the skills, systems, and confidence to deliver exceptional support to their executive clients from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Training Program Development & Delivery
- Design, create, implement, and continuously update EA training bootcamps to meet evolving client and organizational needs.
- Develop new training materials, exercises, and resources for EA trainees and active EAs.
- Deliver comprehensive training on FreedUp systems, tools, and methodologies, including customized operating systems for each executive pairing.
Training Feedback & Evaluation
- Monitor and evaluate EA performance during training bootcamps, providing real-time feedback and coaching.
- Conduct hands-on assessments to ensure trainees demonstrate competency in core EA skills before client handoff.
- Track training completion rates and trainee progress through structured checkpoints and deliverables.
Post-Training Performance Monitoring
- Monitor EA performance during the first four weeks after transitioning to their executive client.
- Extract and review weekly meeting recordings between EAs and their executives to identify how things are progressing and evaluate opportunities to address challenges or provide additional support.
- Ensure EAs consistently follow FreedUp SOPs, including:
- Daily End of Day (EOD) reports
- Proper use of task dashboards and work trackers
- Accurate SOP documentation, grading, and updating
- Provide ongoing coaching and course correction to ensure client-ready performance standards are maintained.
Continuous Improvement & Support Identification
- When no EAs are in active training, collaborate with the Head of People and Culture to identify training needs across the EA team.
- Extract and review weekly meeting recordings between EAs and their executives.
- Listen to recordings and evaluate opportunities to provide additional training, resources, or support to improve EA effectiveness.

Requirements
- Experience in a training or learning environment at least 1 year (BPO or remote training setting preferred)
- Technically proficient and quick to learn new tools
- Familiar with adult learning principles and best practices
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Collaborative and works well within a team
- Open and receptive to feedback
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Has coaching or mentoring experience at least 1 year
- Should have own laptop/desktop with Intel Core i5 or higher (or equivalent)
- Webcam and headset
- Reliable internet connection
- Can work 10pm to 7am PHT Mon-Fri, weekends off
