As a Training Lead for Remote Driving Operations, you’ll play a foundational role in building and scaling the world’s first remote driving operations team. This role offers direct, measurable impact on the safety, quality, and scalability of a breakthrough mobility service. You’ll help define how operators are trained, certified, and continuously improved as the organization grows.

In this role, you’ll own the success, quality, and continuous improvement of training programs for remote driving operations. You’ll partner closely with operations and safety teams to ensure operators are prepared, confident, and compliant.
Own training release and success SLAs
Define and track training quality KPIs
Drive continuous improvements to training programs and materials
Improve training efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards
Conduct root cause and safety analysis of incidents
Deliver onboarding, certification, and refresher training
Coach operators through performance feedback and readiness assessments
We’re looking for a safety-first training professional who thrives in high-stakes environments and enjoys building programs that scale. You’re comfortable using data, feedback, and structure to drive measurable performance outcomes.
2+ years of experience in training, coaching, or instructional roles (e.g., driver training, simulator training, aviation, military, dispatch, AV operations)
Strong safety-first mindset with experience in regulated or high-risk environments
Experience developing and delivering structured training programs (onboarding, certification, refresher training)
Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback and coach underperforming trainees
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including SOP and training documentation
Comfort using performance metrics, dashboards, and data to assess readiness and track progress
Experience conducting incident reviews, root cause analysis, or performance debriefs (preferred)
High emotional intelligence and ability to remain calm under pressure
