In this role, you will drive the data engineering function and influence how data, AI, and machine learning enhance client outcomes. Accountabilities
Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of data engineers and data scientists.
Define and drive the data architecture vision, technical standards, and best practices across client engagements.
Champion AI/ML initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation, modeling, and intelligent activation.
Oversee end-to-end delivery of data platforms, pipelines, and tooling across client projects.
Ensure strong data governance, security, and compliance across all workflows.
Collaborate with CRM, Growth, and Strategy teams to align technical delivery with business objectives.
Partner with clients to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Manage vendor and platform relationships across cloud, data warehouse, and CDP ecosystems.
Optimize performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of data infrastructure and operations.
Represent our partner's data capabilities in client conversations, proposals, and strategic engagements.
Requirements
7+ years in engineering leadership roles focused on data and AI technologies.
Proven experience managing and scaling cross-functional data teams (5–8+ direct reports).
Strong track record in hiring, mentoring, and developing technical talent.
Experience delivering complex data programs in high-growth or consulting environments.
10+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and modern data stack architectures.
Deep knowledge of enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or similar.
Experience with CDPs and data integration tools such as Segment, mParticle, Hightouch, or equivalent.
Strong grounding in data architecture, governance, and security best practices.
Familiarity with AI/ML ecosystems and orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, dbt, SageMaker, MLflow).
Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern DevOps practices.
