WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce.
The working hours for this role will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements.

About the Job
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and close processes, working closely with senior accounting leadership in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with accounting standards
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and investigate variances
- Maintain organized accounting documentation and financial records
- Support audit preparation and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting and financial processes
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or similar roles
- Familiarity with US GAAP and experience in multi-entity, regulated, or fast-paced environments preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting
- Hands-on experience with reconciliations, financial statements, and close cycles (month-end / year-end)
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues proactively
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (Sage preferred); advanced Excel skills required (formulas, pivot tables)
- Background in financial services, lending, banking, fintech, public accounting, or high-growth companies is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability for work output
- Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
