Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to support asset management and reliability initiatives across mining and milling operations. This role focuses on developing asset strategies for new and existing assets, ensuring maintenance plans meet operational requirements, and supporting project execution through a reliability-centred approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop asset strategies for new assets being installed at mining and milling operations, including maintenance instructions and bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Review maintenance plans and BOMs with operational teams to ensure alignment with site expectations and maintenance practices.
  • Support the master data team during the implementation of maintenance plans.
  • Collaborate with project engineers on multiple projects to ensure technical deliverables, schedules, and budgets are met.
  • Review vendor submission packages to confirm inclusion of complete and appropriate maintenance and reliability information.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a reliability, maintenance, or asset strategy role.
  • Hands-on experience applying reliability methodologies such as RCM, FMEA, RBD, MTA, or similar.
  • Experience in mining or other heavy industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance strategies and lifecycle asset management.
  • Knowledge of condition-based monitoring technologies and their application to predictive and preventative maintenance.
