  • Utilize statistical analysis and predictive maintenance techniques to forecast equipment failures and recommend preventive actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement reliability improvement initiatives and track their effectiveness
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on reliability metrics
  • Provide technical expertise and training to maintenance and operations teams on reliability best practices
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in reliability engineering
  • Conduct site assessments and audits to ensure compliance with reliability standards and procedures
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on reliability performance and improvement recommendations to management
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in reliability engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of root cause analysis (RCA), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methodologies
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
  • Experience with predictive maintenance techniques and technologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Technical report writing
  • Experience in mining or heavy industry preferred
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification preferred
  • Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification preferred
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in reliability engineering
  • Understanding of mining operations and equipment

  • Structured Maintenance Strategy Development (RCM/FMEA/PMO)
  • Root Cause Analysis Facilitator
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced CMMS user
  • Advanced data analysis (i.e. MS Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Technical report writing
