About the team
Release Management is responsible for ensuring high-quality code is deployed safely in production environments at the right time to market. Besides that, the team provides guidance to other teams regarding branching, release organization and deployment matters, while supporting the engineering department in operational matters such as merging, building, processes, branching and deployment.
What you'll do:
Merge, build and deploy engineering codes in different environments.
Active role during sprint planning and scrum meetings with teams.
Proactively communicate your ideas, problems and struggles.
Work interacting with different teams (Engineering, QA, Product, DevOps, FIC, etc..).
Run release processes (alignment, monitoring, merging, building, revert, rollback) on daily basis.
Learn about the product in order to assess and resolve conflicting priorities.
Who you are:
Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or 4 years of relevant work experience in the IT field.
Good knowledge of Git (Workflow and Managing Branches) and/or Github.
Adept at Agile development process (daily stand ups, test driven development, etc).
Strong ownership and Commitment skills.
Aims to solve problems and it's committed to find solutions.
Knows how to deal with critical demands in a high pressure environment.
Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment tools.
Good communication skills and ability to communicate in English.
Be organized and proactive.
Be detailed oriented and a good team player.
