Release & Delivery Manager (m/f/d)

• Plan, coordinate and track software implementation and deployment activities across heterogeneous technologies (ABAP, Middleware, Mainframe, job‑scheduling tools), including scope, timelines, effort, and deliverables
• Maintain and prepare project documentation, status reports, meeting materials, and action items; ensure alignment across internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, resources, risks, and dependencies; manage scope changes and escalate issues or blockers to the project lead.
• Ensure regulatory, compliance, and security requirements are met; adapt customer‑specific IT processes from the financial sector for the development team.
• Support testing, UAT, deployment activities, and handover to BAU teams; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven project management experience in complex delivery and release projects within the financial services industry, ideally in large-scale or regulated environments
• Experience with coordinating software development activities, preferably across diverse technologies (ABAP, native HANA, Middleware, Mainframe, job-scheduling software, etc.).
• Understanding of banking processes, regulatory frameworks, and customer-specific IT processes, with the ability to adapt them for project implementation teams.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills; ability to manage priorities and work in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in German and English, and familiarity with collaboration and project tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, Sharepoint, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Knowledge of SAP Transport Management (TMS) and Solution Manager (ChaRM) are a plus.
