What you will work on

• Own and manage the Release Management process, ensuring compliance with policies and minimizing risks.
• Review and approve changes in coordination with stakeholders, ensuring proper risk assessment and rollback plans.
• Maintain a release calendar and ensure smooth coordination across development, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
• Facilitate release planning meetings, ensuring all changes are reviewed, dependencies are identified, and risks are mitigated.
• Track and monitor releases using JIRA and Confluence, ensuring all necessary approvals and documentation are in place.
• Work with development teams and DevOps to coordinate deployments, ensuring alignment with CI/CD best practices.
• Communicate release timelines, impacts, and status updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams to improve branching strategies, version control (GitHub), and deployment pipelines.
• Continuously refine release processes, identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.

What you bring

• 1-3 years of experience in release coordination, project coordination, or related IT roles.
• Strong experience with JIRA and Confluence for tracking releases and documentation.
• Good knowledge of version control (GitHub), including branching strategies (Git Flow, Trunk-based development, etc.).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment best practices.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to manage multiple teams and projects.
• Ability to analyze risks, enforce change control, and drive approval processes.
• Experience working in an Agile environment with software development teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills to handle complex release schedules.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with ITIL Change Management best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Knowledge of automation tools ( GitHub Actions, etc.).
