As a Registered Nurse at LME Care, you will play a pivotal role providing comprehensive nursing care to individualswith complex health needs. Working on the ground and alongside our teams of support workers, this role is suited for those that appreciate diversity, getting to know their patients and get fulfilment making a difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans based on clients needs
  • Administer medications and ensure compliance with prescribes medical treatments
  • Monitor and evaluate the health status of clients, reporting any changes to the medical team
  • Provide clinical support and education to clients and their families regarding health management
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimise client care and promote well being
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessment and interventions
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and regulations to ensure safety and quality of care
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training activities

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse Qualification with current APHRA registration
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a clinical nursing role, preferably in disability or aged care settings
  • Experience in managing complex health needs and NDIS requirements
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours to meet client needs
  • Valid Drivers Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
