About the Role
The Regional Therapy Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily program operations and care delivery. The Regional Therapy Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Therapy and will have direct supervision of Therapy Leads who supervise staff therapists. The Regional Therapy Manager will have a strong understanding of eating disorder care delivery in order to ensure that the highest quality of care is being provided by the therapy team. The Regional Therapy Manager is able to work closely and effectively with multiple members of the clinical care team and provide guidance, accountability, and oversight of staff therapists.
Responsibilities
People Management:
Own the success of your team and flag ongoing improvement opportunities to maintain or improve outcomes.
Possess working knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance expectations, and respond accordingly to ensure compliance among the therapy team.
Participate in interviewing, training, and onboarding of Therapy Leads.
Provide continuous feedback and coaching as well as initiate performance improvement plans when necessary.
Write and deliver performance reviews on a biannual cadence.
Responsible for Therapy Leads and therapist retention, morale, and creating meaningful and sustainable roles.
Clinical Leadership:
Understand and adhere to Equip’s treatment philosophy.
Have a strong understanding of Equip’s evidence-based models that support strong clinical outcomes.
Provide clinical consultation for therapy leads and therapists on complex cases, safety events, and on an as-needed basis. This includes being an active participant in the clinical phone tree/on call.
Quality & Operational Oversight:
Utilize data and metrics to monitor team performance, to provide feedback, and to guide decision-making.
Support quality improvement initiatives that align with company and department OKR’s (e.g. session utilization).
Support the therapy team to meet operational goals (e.g. provider utilization, productivity).
Ensure consistency and accuracy of policies and procedures within Equip, effectively disseminate to staff therapists, and manage accountability.
Change Management:
Identifying gaps and needs within the team and structure of care delivery and being proactive and solution-focused to solve problems.
Disseminate changes to the team using a structured change management approach; ensuring visibility and clear communication.
Team Work and Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work as a team with other Regional Therapy Managers as part of the Therapy leadership group.
Lead key initiatives that contribute to the success of the organization and are aligned with company and department OKR’s.
Engage in cross-functional collaboration across care delivery verticals and with cross-departmental stakeholders and partners.
Work collaboratively with care teams to ensure staff therapists are providing the highest quality care to families and patients.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience supervising a team of therapists or therapy leaders at varying levels of experience.
5+ years of experience in treating patients with eating disorders.
Eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment at a growing company.
Ability to identify problems, understand the root cause, and implement solutions.
Ability to safely and effectively deliver evidence-based care in a virtual care model.
Ability to hold a team accountable and guide a team toward success.
Ability to use data to guide decisions.
Strong people management skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Team builder and culture champion, with strong skills in change management.
Proven ability to build successful and effective relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization.
Ability to effectively prioritize and reprioritize in dynamic environments.
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field and active, unrestricted license within home state.
Eligibility and willingness to be licensed in multiple states or inter-jurisdictional compacts, depending on business needs (fees covered by Equip).
Compensation & Benefits Package
Compensation:
Earning Potential Range: $117,000 to $130,000 Annually + 15% Performance-Based Bonus Potential.

Licensing:
Equip reimburses fees associated with initial licensure and license renewals (e.g. application to the state board, exam fees, exam study materials, etc.) for any Equip-required licenses and/or cross-licensure requests.
Continuing Education:
Robust training in evidence-based treatments for eating disorders, including Family-Based Treatment, Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ARFID. Comparable training workshops and supervision in these modalities are valued over $3,000.
For therapists and medical providers, unlimited online courses through NetCE.
Up to $1,000/year stipend for continuing education.
Opportunities to attend team onsites and conferences at various locations throughout the US.
Work From Home Additional Perks:
$50/month stipend added directly to an employee’s paycheck to cover home internet expenses.

Initial work-from-home stipend of up to $500.
Reload of $200 on the home office stipend at the 3-year mark and then every other year after that (year 5, year 7, etc.).

Physical Demands
Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
