TLDR

The role involves protecting company assets through security measures, coordinating emergency responses, and implementing local security policies across EMEA and AME locations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect company assets, employees, and visitors. This includes coordinating emergency response efforts as a member of the site management team and reporting to the divisional security.

Your responsibilities:

  • Regional Security Professional for EMEA and AME locations
    • Collaborate with corporate security manager in the development, implementation and monitoring of security policies and procedures
    • Develop Reporting tools for corporate security
    • Investigation in case of security policy violations and liaise with local authorities
    • Risk management process monitoring to prevent risks to personnel or assets
    • Participate in internal and external security audits
  • Protection and Security Officer for Ovar plant
    • Promote a culture of security excellence across all work areas
    • Implementation and monitoring of local security policies and procedures
    • Daily management of security activities:
      • Manage security systems, including CCTV, access control system and intruder alarm,
      • Issue and maintain badges, keys, security codes, and inventories as needed
      • Coordinate external security and reception services

What distinguishes you:

    • Bachelor’s degree in security management or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of security professional experience
    • Strong understanding of local laws and regulations related to security and premises
    • Experience in risk management methods and tools, business continuity management, investigations and document management
    • Ability to manage multiple projects successfully
    • Excellent communication skills in the Portuguese, fluency in English
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and presentation skills
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
    • Willingness and ability to travel (15%) to other sites/countries in EMEA and AME locations
