Regional Sales Manager

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a results-driven sales professional to lead territory growth and strengthen agency relationships. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving financial objectives by managing an independent agency network, executing strategic sales initiatives, and implementing tactical plans to drive revenue and profitability. Success in this position relies on building strong, trust-based relationships with producers while analyzing market trends to identify new opportunities. Operating on a hybrid schedule, the role requires regular travel within the assigned territory and active engagement with local agencies. The position provides the autonomy to directly influence territory performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency. This is a hands-on role with significant impact on both sales results and long-term agency partnerships. Accountabilities:
  • Identify, evaluate, and appoint agencies aligned with target profiles and production goals.
  • Develop and execute annual agency production and flow plans.
  • Build and maintain strong producer relationships through consistent in-person engagement.
  • Implement territory-specific tactical sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Analyze local market trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products, pricing, and capabilities.
  • Monitor performance metrics, adjust strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize agency operations.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; or 5–10 years of related experience and/or training.
  • 6+ years of insurance marketing or sales leadership experience, with direct personal lines property (home insurance) expertise.
  • Proven track record of agency management and production growth.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with ability to analyze territory performance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinking, market analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Preferred: Combined personal and commercial lines experience and experience collaborating directly with agency principals and producers.
