The Role 

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Regional Sales Manager based in Atlanta to manage and support a team of Territory Managers while strengthening relationships with key retail and brand partners. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on coaching teams, driving execution, and building long-term partnerships. 

You will work closely with senior sales leadership to execute regional strategies, support growth initiatives, and ensure strong performance across assigned territories. This role is Atlanta-based and includes regular travel for field visits and industry trade shows. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through exceptional service and consultative selling 
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Territory Managers, providing ongoing training, guidance, and performance support 
  • Execute regional sales plans and team goals aligned with company objectives 
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify growth opportunities and optimize territory coverage 
  • Monitor performance, analyze sales trends, and contribute to forecasting and reporting 
  • Support planning and execution of regional sales meetings and key trade show events 
  • Represent Harper Group and our brands at industry trade shows and customer meetings 
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support a dynamic, growth-focused sales organization

Base salary of $65,000–$70,000, with on-target earnings (OTE) of $80,000–$85,000 through performance-based incentives.

What We’re Looking For 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 2–4 years of sales management or team-lead experience in a client-focused, fast-paced environment 
  • Proven ability to coach and manage a geographically dispersed sales team 
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers, brand partners, and internal stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated success driving sales growth and delivering excellent customer experiences 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a changing environment 
  • Comfortable with sales and productivity tools such as Office365, Asana, and MarketTime (or eager to learn)
