ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieving and exceeding monthly and yearly sales goals within the assigned territory.
Identifying, developing, and closing key opportunities within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Biopharma, CRO’s, Environmental Science and Academic life science research areas.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining account strategies/proposals to drive incremental growth.
Networking with key decision makers to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities.
Submitting accurate sales forecast, weekly reports, and maintaining up-to-date detailed account information including product, market, application, and sales cycle through CRM system.
Monitoring competitive activity, industry trends, creating competitive solutions.
Ability to present and discuss technology, applications, benefits, and value proposition statements.
Experience creating and executing sales territory plan with focus on long-term relationships.
Must reside within the territory and be able to travel 40%, including overnight travel.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SFDC or other related CRM sales funnel tools.
