Salary Band Base Salary: $95,000 – $125,000
On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $180,000 – $260,000
Compensation Structure: Base salary plus uncapped commission based on territory performance and team revenue.
What you'll do
As a Regional Sales Lead at Flatpay, you’ll lead the growth of our merchant payments business in your market. You’ll recruit, coach, and manage a team of employed Field Merchant Payment Consultants while driving new merchant acquisition across your territory. This role combines leadership, field sales strategy, and market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a team ofField Merchant Payment Consultants in your territory
- Recruit, hire, and onboard top-performing merchant payments sales professionals
- Drive merchant acquisition across SMB businesses with physical locations
- Conduct ride‑alongsand coaching sessions to develop your sales team
- Support Consultants in closing key deals and managing large opportunities
- Develop territory growth strategies and maintain a strong pipeline
- Monitor team performance and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets
- Provide market insights and competitive feedback to leadership
- Represent Flatpay locally and establish the brand with business owners
Who you are
- Experience in merchant payments or payment processing sales
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing or mentoring field-based sellers
- Strong recruiting and team development capabilities
- Ability to manage pipeline forecasting and territory strategy
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a market from the ground up
- Strong communication and leadership skills
