AI overview

Lead and enhance store performance through analytical strategies and operational excellence while ensuring exceptional guest experiences across Thuma's retail locations.
Thuma is seeking a performance-driven Regional Retail Manager to lead and optimize our growing fleet of stores. You are a highly analytical, hands-on operator who understands how to translate strategy into measurable results while maintaining an elevated, hospitality-led guest experience. As an early leader in our retail expansion, you will ensure every location meets and exceeds its performance targets through strong team leadership, operational excellence, and consistent execution of Thuma standards. Thuma’s Headquarters is based in the historic Presidio neighborhood of San Francisco. The role involves three days in the office each week and occasional additional days as needed. In recognition of the personal and professional benefits that team members gain from time spent together in person, we organize a range of events throughout each year designed to bring our entire team together! Key Responsibilities
  • Lead & Develop Store Teams: Manage and coach store managers to deliver exceptional guest experiences, strong sales performance, and operational excellence. Lead hiring for all positions during new store openings.
  • Drive Sales Performance: Build and execute performance strategies that optimize conversion, average order value, and overall store revenue along with other key in-store performance KPIs.
  • Operational Excellence: Partner closely with HQ teams (CX, Retail Ops, Merchandising, and Marketing) to ensure consistent execution of Thuma standards across all locations.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Step in as acting store manager when needed to support transitions or provide on-the-ground leadership.
  • Training & Development: Identify opportunities to elevate team capabilities through coaching, new store team training, performance reviews, and leadership development.
  • Performance Reporting: Monitor and analyze store KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices; share actionable insights with leadership.
  • Budget & P&L Management: Partner on budgeting, labor planning, and evaluation of topline and expense performance to ensure healthy, efficient, and scalable store operations.
  • Experience Optimization: Regularly visit stores to assess visual standards, guest experience, team performance and engagement and consistency across locations—bringing back insights to evolve how we show up in retail.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with brand, marketing, and operations teams to execute programs that drive awareness and traffic.
  • This Might Describe You
  • 7+ years of experience in retail leadership, including both store management and multi-store or regional management roles.
  • Proven track record of driving sales performance and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong operational acumen and ability to translate strategy into consistent, elevated execution.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, growing environments; adaptable and resourceful.
