Regional Media Specialist - Hebrew

The Red Gate Group is seeking a Regional Media Specialist - Hebrew to join our team in Tampa, FL, supporting the Central Command Communication Integration Directorate (CCCI). This vital role enhances CENTCOM’s ability to inform and educate diverse audiences across its Area of Responsibility (AOR). Using Hebrew language fluency, cultural expertise, and media analysis skills, you will help shape communication strategies that support CENTCOM’s mission of improving regional stability and promoting U.S. interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze Hebrew-language foreign media sources, providing timely insights on current events, public sentiment, and media trends.
  • Advise CCCI leadership on the political, social, and cultural nuances of the region, ensuring messages are appropriately tailored to target audiences.
  • Develop and manage culturally sensitive content for CENTCOM’s Hebrew-language social media platforms, aligning with key themes and objectives.
  • Provide translation services, captioning advice, and recommendations for public-facing communications.
  • Identify influential media figures and recommend engagement strategies to enhance CENTCOM’s outreach.
  • Conduct research and provide in-depth analysis of regional geopolitics, culture, and U.S. relations to inform communication planning.
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Fluency in Hebrew (3/3/3 or higher on DLPT or equivalent) and expertise in media analysis and cultural nuances of the CENTCOM AOR.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. foreign policy, regional interests, and geopolitical dynamics.
  • Experience with AP Style, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media platforms.
  • Proven skills in research, critical thinking, and briefing with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on complex communication projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced education (master’s or doctoral level) in public affairs, journalism, foreign affairs, political science, or related fields.
  • Prior experience in public affairs, U.S. military, Department of Defense, or Department of State.
  • Familiarity with U.S. military structure and national security operations.
