About the Position
Help shape the future of youth basketball! We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Regional Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of our Golden State Shoot 360 facilities. This pivotal role drives strategic growth, manages multi-site operations, and leads a high-performing team to deliver an elite customer experience while maximizing revenue and efficiency across the assigned region.

This is a full-time position based onsite in Oakland, CA. The role requires onsite work in San Francisco and San Jose.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for all Golden State Shoot 360 locations, focusing on maximizing utilization, operational efficiency, revenue generation, and customer engagement
- Design, implement and manage a comprehensive membership model in collaboration with the VP, ensuring strong client value and sustainable business growth
- Manage all facility-related administrative tasks, including processing rental requests and payments, coordinating Certificates of Insurance (COI), and managing invoices and requisitions
- Assist the VP with local market analysis, site selection, and grand opening support
- Act as the direct supervisor and mentor for all Site Leads and provide consistent coaching, guidance, and actionable performance feedback to foster a culture of accountability
- Lead the full talent lifecycle for full-time and part-time personnel: recruit, train, develop and assess a diverse, high-performance team capable of executing the organization's vision and maintaining brand standards
- Act as the primary liaison between Golden State and all Shoot 360 locations to facilitate a smooth operational partnership
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Growth & Retention teams on all programming initiatives. This includes overseeing content and strategies across digital (web, social, email/CRM), in-arena, broadcast, and digital platforms
- Ensure superior customer service by establishing clear, consistent communication standards and equipping all staff with expert-level knowledge of program offerings and technology
- Plan, develop & execute a variety of programs and organizational projects that support the overall goals of the Golden State Sports Academy (GSSA)
- Oversee and lead staff for camps and clinics, including direct participation in a variety of GSSA events such as camp sessions, on-court training, and special events
- Identify and develop new opportunities to engage with fans and partners through innovative basketball experiences, clinics and events
- Serve as a knowledgeable representative for all things related to GSSA
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5+ years playing/coaching basketball and/or experience in the local youth basketball community
- Minimum of 5+ years of gym management experience, preferably within Shoot 360’s network
- Experience with program planning/execution, customer service, marketing & promotion, and staff development
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant POS/CRM systems, and registration platforms
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and anticipate change in a dynamic work environment
- Passionate about youth basketball development/grass roots youth sports and the opportunity to impact lives both on and off the court
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and performance metrics
- Exceptional communication, leadership and interpersonal skills for building relationships and motivating staff
Time Commitment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends and some holidays, based on business needs and franchisee schedules.
Travel & Physical Demands
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to multiple Golden State Shoot 360 locations
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel independently
- Ability to exert up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 15 lbs. of force frequently, and up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects
Compensation
- $72,000 - $76,000 + Bonus
