Regional Demand Planning Manager

Drive demand and supply planning across multiple countries while mentoring local teams and leading inventory management initiatives within a high-growth consumer startup.

Develop, maintain, and finalize rolling demand forecasts for core markets across all categories.

Consolidate, challenge and verify bottom-up market inputs from commercial teams, taking into account historical trends and seasonality patterns to ensure robust final demand plans.

Identify forecast risks and opportunities, raising early alerts to commercial and supply stakeholders

Drive the monthly Sales & Operations Planning cycle by country - preparing pre-reads, facilitating cross-functional meetings, and documenting agreed decisions.

Use input from S&OP to ensure accuracy in demand plans.

Track forecast accuracy and publish performance dashboards;

Continuously improve S&OP maturity, cadence, and stakeholder engagement across markets

Set and govern safety stock, reorder points, and Weeks of Cover (WoC) targets by SKU and market

Monitor inventory health daily - proactively managing overstock, slow-movers, and risk-of-stockout situations

Drive Zero Out-of-Stock initiatives for key markets, with root-cause analysis and corrective action plans

Serve as the primary regional interface with the Procurement and Quality teams in China, translating demand plans into production requirements

Partner closely with commercial, sales, and marketing teams to incorporate trade promotions and new product launches, into the demand plan.

Provide supply availability inputs to commercial teams for customer commitments.

Regular reporting of key planning KPIs and Weeks of Cover, as well as associated actions.

Run simulations to evaluate the supply impact of demand shifts, promotional uplifts, or distribution expansion

Develop and maintain planning templates, dashboards, and standardized reporting tools

Guide and mentor local market planning coordinators in core markets.

Build planning capability within each market team - coaching on forecast methodology, system usage, and exception management.

Establish standard operating procedures for finished goods planning across the region

Shipping & Logistics: Ensure timely shipping of finished goods from factories in China to meet regional Business Unit demands.

Documentation & Financial Reconciliation: Check and match shipping and commercial

Strategic Planning & Regional Coordination: Expertise in leading multi-country demand planning, stakeholder management, and executing international logistics (preferably out of China).

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 5-8+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain/Operations, preferably with 1-2 years in a management or supervisory role.
