The annual emergence of news rocks impacts nearly half of farms in North America, slowing farming, damaging equipment, and causing downtime during seeding and harvesting. Solving this problem frees farmers to focus on higher-value tasks and brings their operations into a new era of farming.
Leveraging our commercial success in rocks, we are now expanding our core technologies to new farm applications including the precise management of weeds, pests, disease and overall plant health.

Location: Must live near or in Spirit Lake, IA area.
Territory: Assigned territory will cover west of I-35, north of I-80 in Iowa. SW Minnesota. Eastern Nebraska.
Travel: Up to 2–3 weeks per month
Compensation: Base salary $75,000–$90,000 USD + commission
About the Role
TerraClear is seeking a Regional Account Manager to build strong, trusted relationships with Growers and Resellers while driving revenue growth across the assigned territory. This is a field-based role focused on in-person customer engagement, solution-based selling, and long-term account development within the Agriculture Industry.
The ideal candidate is a proven Ag Sales Professional who thrives in a fast-moving start up environment, understands farming operations, and is comfortable selling innovative technology-driven solutions.
What You’ll Do:
Sales & Business Development -
- Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and existing industry relationships
- Identify, research, and qualify potential customers within your assigned territory
- Conduct face-to-face meetings to understand customer needs and present tailored solutions
- Articulate the features, benefits, and value proposition of TerraClear’s products, including:
- Mapping solutions
- Picking Services
- Autonomous imaging technology
- Negotiate and close sales deals, including pricing, contracts, purchase orders, and customized solutions
Relationship Management -
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Growers, Resellers, and Industry Partners
- Serve as a trusted advisor by deeply understanding customer operations and business challenges
- Represent TerraClear with professionalism and credibility across the agricultural community
Collaboration & Strategy -
- Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, Inside Sales and Product Development) to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
- Provide regular customer feedback to inform sales strategy, forecasting, and product development
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication using TerraClear systems (Smartsheet, HubSpot, Google Docs, Slack)
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of successful territory sales management experience with Ag Retailers and/or Seed Dealers, with a proven track record of exceeding targets
- Established relationships within Grower and Reseller communities in your assigned territory
- Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, start-up environment
- Strong organizational skills with a commitment to utilizing CRM tools as part of your day to day job
- Independent, self-motivated, and a self-starter with high activity levels
- Willingness to travel up to 2–3 weeks per month

- Deep understanding of farming operations
- Comfort discussing and selling new technology, including AI, software, and automation
- Agricultural base degree
