Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Cyber Operations, Cyber Engineering, Information System, Information Technology, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science, or equivalent to above disciplines
Required Experience: Seven (7) Years for Level III and ten (10) years for Level IV
Position Description:
PingWind is seeking the right fit to join a team of Cyber professionals as they support critical functions to provide Cyber Security for the Navy’s network. Depending on the position hired to fill, you will be ensuring the highest level of cyber security by developing and utilizing penetration tools to seek out and exploit network vulnerabilities as a white hat hacker. Work is performed in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), DAHLGREN DIVISION in Virgina Beach as it conducts Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E), analysis, systems engineering, integration, and certification of complex Department of Defense systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
Level III: Seven (7) years of full-time professional experience conducting penetration testing or offensive Cyber operations in the following areas:
• Developing and utilizing penetration tools such as Metasploit, NMAP, Kali Linux, Cobalt Strike
• Mimic network threat behavior
• Utilize various operating systems (examples include Linux, Windows, MAC OS, etc.)
• Utilize Active Directory
• Perform exploit development
• Identify gaps in tools and development techniques
• Perform development with at least two scripting or programming languages (examples include python, C++, Java, Rust, Assembly, C#, etc.).
Level III: Ten (10) years of full-time professional experience conducting penetration testing or offensive Cyber operations including demonstrated experience in the following areas:
• Same as seven Level III plus;
• Experience performing develop with three scripting or programming languages (examples include python, C++, Java, Rust, Assembly, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
• Top Secret SCI
