Are you a driven recruiter with a sourcing superpower? Join Ruby Labs as a Recruitment Specialist and play a key role in rapidly scaling our tech and product teams! This is a pure talent acquisition role—not HR or People Ops—where your primary focus will be on proactively and creatively sourcing, engaging, and securing top-tier performers.
You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to attract talent across high-growth areas, including Engineering (focused on backend languages like Golang, and specialized areas like Data and QA), Product, and Marketing/Growth. We are particularly focused on the Eastern European market. Direct experience and market knowledge of the EE talent landscape is essential, and the ability to communicate in Ukrainian or Russian is a significant advantage.
Proactively identify and engage high-quality passive candidates using LinkedIn and a variety of other sourcing platforms.
Efficiently manage high-volume candidate pipelines and ensure meticulous data integrity using our ATS – Ashby.
Conduct initial recruiter screenings, specifically assessing candidates for roles like Backend Developers, Full-Stack Developers, Data Analysts/Engineers, QA Engineers, and various Growth/Product Specialists.
Build strong, trust-based relationships with hiring managers to deeply understand specific technical and cultural requirements for each open role.
Provide timely, professional, and positive feedback to all candidates, ensuring a smooth process that reflects well on the Ruby Labs brand.
Collaborate with the Recruitment team to continuously optimize sourcing strategies and recruitment workflows for maximum speed and efficiency.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor strategies within the Eastern European tech market.
2+ years of dedicated recruitment experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, preferably within a high-growth tech company.
Proven track record in sourcing and closing technical roles, including backend, frontend, data, and growth positions.
In-depth market knowledge of the Eastern European talent pool is required.
Proficiency with advanced sourcing techniques and platforms beyond standard job boards and basic LinkedIn usage.
Familiarity with well-known ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, etc.).
Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple, competing priorities under tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Fluency or strong proficiency in Ukrainian or Russian.
Experience hiring for specialized roles like Golang, Head of User Acquisition, or CRO/Growth.
Familiarity with the technologies and tools used by our teams, including Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Nest.js, Mixpanel, GA4, Amplitude, SQL, Python, R, GCP/BigQuery, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads.
