Mission statement:

The primary mission of our Recruitment Manager is to coordinate, manage, oversee and take charge of our Recruitment Division. This mainly involves ensuring that every department’s recruitment needs are met timeously and constantly working on improving our systems and strategies for talent acquisition. 

General Responsibilities: 

  • Playing an active role in the HR Team consisting of 3-5 full-time professionals to ensure that all recruitment activities and initiatives are kept on track and implemented
  • Leading, overseeing, and managing the Recruitment Division to ensure that our company’s recruitment needs are met on time, and that top talent is hired to work at Hustler Marketing
  • Taking charge of and coordinating recruitment initiatives, processes, and rounds, and delegating any administrative tasks to the Talent Coordinator and other professionals in the Recruitment Division
  • Managing our Recruitment Database with applicants’ information and important documents
  • Overseeing and regularly updating our recruitment structure and processes
  • Planning and coordinating the timeline of each recruitment round, including the briefing aspects, posting of job openings, screening of applicants, and onboarding of new team members
  • Regularly reporting on the recruitment progress, expenses, and performance of each round
  • Consulting with outside sources to ensure our company’s recruitment strategies are up to date
  • Getting actively involved in the execution of recruitment-related tasks, including leading interviews, communicating with applicants, and managing the onboarding processes
  • Being open to working on and engaging with other projects within the Recruitment Division
  • Ensuring that projects from the Recruitment Division are completed timeously
  • Engaging in department-wide projects when needed
  • Managing all spreadsheets related to the recruitment initiatives and efforts of the Recruitment Division
  • Playing an active managing role in the data management of our recruitment efforts (including key metrics, analytics, tracking recruitment expenses, and developing recruitment projections)
  • Assisting new team members with the onboarding process and ensuring that onboarding materials are managed effectively and kept up to date
  • Regularly researching to identify potential opportunities for improving our recruitment processes, initiatives, and the company’s recruitment funnel
  • Keeping track of and reporting on the performance of each recruitment round
  • Continuously maintaining our Recruitment Database and ensuring that it is kept up to date
  • Compiling and presenting recruitment reports to and from the HR Team (when needed)
  • Continuously implementing the processes in our internal policy books as it pertains to recruitment
  • Manage team members’ personal and professional data and files (including contracts, job descriptions, salary information, personal details, performance data, etc.) in a confidential and organized manner
  • Managing applicants’ personal and professional data and files (including applications, assessment tests, scoring sheets, personal details, etc.) in a confidential and organized manner

Secondary responsibilities:

  • Proven experience in managing and selling recruitment services (e.g. Recruitment as a Service, staffing, retained or project-based recruitment).
  • Strong understanding of agency-style recruitment delivery, client management, and commercial ownership.
  • Using the company’s HR and recruitment assets, processes, and resources efficiently
  • Participating in the training and skill-building sessions for the HR Team to improve your skills, performance, and overall expertise
  • Being an approachable, friendly, professional, and available HR representative to all team members
  • Regularly working to find ways to improve internal recruitment processes, procedures, and systems

Positions Specs: 

  • Full-time commitment while meeting our general availability for office hours
  • An average of 140 tracked hours per month consistently
  • Fixed-rate monthly salary paid in USD
  • Receive contractor status after signing our non-disclosure agreement
  • Exclusivity agreement (nullifying the possibility to work in a position of a similar nature while working for Hustler Marketing)
  • Committing to a 30-day notice period after the first month
  • Regular performance reviews every 9-12 months, with the first one being after 3-6 months

About You: 

Profile:

The ideal candidate must be someone with ample experience in recruitment-related work, including a proven track record of managing a company’s recruitment efforts. Such experience should include managing a team consisting of recruitment professionals to acquire top talent with well-thought-out recruitment initiatives and smooth onboarding processes. 

The Recruitment Manager must be able to act swiftly upon receiving urgent requests and must be able to work consistently with high levels of accountability. The right person will be professional and also have considerable leadership and managerial experience, as well as strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The person occupying this role will be the representative of Hustler Marketing for new and potential team members. Having led a Recruitment Division before or having any agency experience is a great advantage.

Familiarity with various tools such as HRMS tools, Slack, Hubstaff, Asana, and the Google Workspace Suite is a must for this role. The candidate should also feel comfortable working in a remote environment. Availability, accountability, professionalism, responsiveness, and consistency are highly important factors for us, so the Recruitment Manager should display these qualities when it comes to workload commitments and general availability during office hours.

Key Requirements: 

  • Several years of recruitment experience, including administrative experience (Preference will be given to candidates who have worked with remote teams and team members from different countries, or have been part of an HR team in another agency)
  • Any working experience with recruitment tools, process improvements, reporting, and research recruitment-related information is an advantage
  • A proven track record in successfully and smoothly recruiting new team members and providing quality, consistent work in a previous role is a must
  • Any experience in working with applicants and confidential information is considered a big advantage
  • Spearhead and scale our Recruitment-as-a-Service (RAAS) offering, owning both delivery and commercial performance.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment service engagements, from client onboarding to successful placement and retention.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine the RAAS model, positioning, and go-to-market approach.
  • Outstanding knowledge of HRMS platforms (including recruitment tools) will be a plus
  • Must be highly responsive and have an excellent ability to meet deadlines
