Recruiting/Licensing Case Manager


As our Recruiting/Licensing Specialist, you will serve a vital role in our Foster Care program, which offers a family-based placement option for children with serious behavioral, emotional, or medical health needs.  You will attend events and professional organization meetings to network, educate on the need for foster/adoptive parents, and develop relationships to attain potential foster parents.  This role provides support to foster parents through the licensing process, orientation, on-going training, and foster home evaluation/monitoring.  Our Recruiting/Licensing Specialist assists with the placement of foster children in homes and maintains communication with therapists and case managers regarding placement.  You will stay abreast of regulatory standards, interact with Foster Care Authority personnel to ensure regulatory compliance, and provide educational training to staff and foster parents.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an approved Human Service field (Child, Family, and Community Services, Social Work, Early Childhood Development, Guidance and Counseling, Psychology, Special Education, Child Development, Human Services, Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling, Human Development, Pastoral Care/Counseling, etc.)
  • CWEL required within 3 months of hire
  • Child welfare and case management experience, preferred
  • Valid Driver’s license in good standing, and current automobile insurance. Must obtain a valid IL license within 30 days of hire if moving from out of state.
  • CPR and First Aid Certified, or ability to be certified within 30 days of hire.
