Vast is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator I, reporting to the Manager, Talent Operations, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. 

This will be a full-timenon-exempt (fixed term for 6 months) position located in our Long Beach location.

Responsibilities: 

  • Own end-to-end scheduling of candidate interviews (onsite or virtual) for both technical and non-technical roles
  • Coordinate candidate travel and handle associated expenses as necessary
  • Act as a partner for recruiting operations problems and find solutions through a mix of data, tools, and collaboration
  • Streamline processes to improve both external candidates’ and internal stakeholders’ experience
  • Manage clear, concise, and professional communication with candidates and hiring partners in written and verbal form

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Willing to work in-person at our HQ Office in Long Beach 5 days per week
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR Coordination, or other human resources function 
  • 2+ years of experience in coordinating travel for candidates

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a fast-paced start-up or corporate environment
  • 2+ years of experience with Greenhouse
  • Self-directed with a high sense of urgency while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Excellent communicator and problem solver
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and maintain unwavering poise under pressure
  • Highly organized with a knack for building relationships

$27$38 USD

Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand. Salary is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package.
