Role: Recruiter, Service (Midwest)

As Ambient continues to expand, we’re looking for someone to support our Service companies in the Midwest. You will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting top talent to contribute to our rapid growth for our subsidiaries in the region. Roles range from Service Technicians to Dispatchers to Service Manager roles. While these roles are the most crucial, there is opportunity support other areas as we grow. You will report to the Director of Recruiting but collaborate closely with the local HR team and business leaders to support the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to closing and managing reporting. You should ideally live in the Midwest, with ability to visit our offices or attend Recruiting events as needed, but the role is fully remote.  This is an exciting opportunity to be a strategic Talent partner to our newest region as a part of a collaborative, nation-wide Talent team!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead full cycle recruiting for a wide range of roles for our Service Division.
  • Partner with hiring managers, and local leadership, to define roles, align on process, and make strong, data-supported hiring decisions.
  • Own recruiting function for multiple subsidiaries across multiple states/regions.
  • Collaborate with local HR and the larger Talent team on projects, searches and systems implementations.
  • Help create a thoughtful, consistent and scalable candidate experience from end-to-end.
  • Leverage diverse recruitment channels including job boards, social media, and industry networking events to proactively source high-quality candidates.
  • Conduct thorough resume and application reviews, performing initial screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit with the company's core values.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience – experience within HVAC, manufacturing or Construction a plus.
  • Proficiency at using an Application Tracking System, Greenhouse or Workday strongly preferred
  • Comfortability with working CST or EST hours.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.

 

Estimated Salary: $85,000 – $95,000, with flexibility based on experience and skills.
