As a Recruiter, you will manage a portfolio of searches with a focus on non-technical roles in departments such as Investor Relations & Business Development, People Operations, Fund Finance, Corporate Finance, Business Strategy, Legal & Compliance, and others. Your work will encompass a wide variety of roles and stakeholders, providing a unique perspective on the operations of a growing quantitative hedge fund. You will be a full-cycle recruiter who excels at closing and candidate experience while remaining highly dedicated to directly sourcing a rich pipeline of candidates.  You will attune to our exceptionally high hiring standards and develop effective strategies to engage talent at that level. Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with a wide variety hiring managers to support their growth efforts, with a focus on non-technical roles
  • Directly source a rich pipeline of rarified talent
  • Manage the offer process and develop effective closing strategies
  • Own the candidate experience and make it a positive and memorable journey, even for candidates who do not join us
  • Maintain and improve a high-performance recruiting process tuned to delivering outstanding quality of hire in an efficient, organized manner
  • Develop and share institutional knowledge / insight around talent markets and effective recruiting practices and content for Voleon
  • Lead various projects to improve our recruiting efforts overall

Requirements

  • At least three years of talent acquisition experience with demonstrated expertise in sourcing and full-cycle recruitment
  • Experience recruiting for sales & operational functions in the investment management industry is preferred, and an interest in gaining an understanding of the investment management industry is required
  • Excellent client management skills with a history of developing customized, consultative relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Track record of making contributions to institutional knowledge and recruiting processes and content
  • Eagerness to work with diverse, highly talented teams
  • Bachelor’s degree (a plus)
  • Ability to work remotely, or on a hybrid schedule in our Berkeley, CA headquarters
  • Authorization to work in the United States

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 in the location(s) of this posting. Individual salaries are determined through a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Base salary does not include other forms of total compensation such as bonus compensation and other benefits. Our benefits package includes medical, dental and vision coverage, life and AD&D insurance, 20 days of paid time off, 9 sick days, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
