Operations consists of our Brand & Communications, Central Tech, Finance, People, Real Estate/Workplace/Events/Facilities/Security (REWFS), Strategy & Operations, and Ventures teams. These teams provide the essential operations, services, and strategies needed to support CZI’s progress toward achieving its mission to build a better future for everyone.

In this role, you’ll lead full-cycle recruiting across both our core Business and G&A functions (including Operations, People, Legal, Finance, and Communications). You'll partner closely with hiring managers and cross-functional collaborators to ensure we’re bringing in individuals who offer both immediate impact and long-term potential.
As part of our small but mighty team, you’ll balance hands-on execution with opportunities to innovate—bringing curiosity, structure, and care to each stage of the hiring process.
We’re looking for someone who is collaborative, organized, and proactive—someone who thrives in a mission-driven environment and brings a high level of attention to candidate experience and stakeholder partnership. Most importantly, you’re someone who makes the team better—by sharing knowledge, offering fresh perspectives, and raising the bar on how we recruit with purpose and impact.
This is a hybrid position: team members are expected to work from our office in Redwood City, CA, 60% of the working month (about 3 days per week).

The Redwood City, CA base pay range for a new hire in this role is $120,000 - $165,000. New hires are typically hired into the lower portion of the range, enabling employee growth in the range over time. Actual placement in range is based on job-related skills and experience, as evaluated throughout the interview process.
