Record-to-Report (R2R) Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Record-to-Report (R2R) Accountant to join our finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining general ledger integrity, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of financial controls and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Manage and execute the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
🔹 Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and IFRS/GAAP standards.
🔹 Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to ensure completeness and accuracy.
🔹 Ensure intercompany reconciliations and group reporting compliance, resolving any discrepancies.
🔹 Support the external and internal audit processes by preparing required reports and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
🔹 Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and management reports.
🔹 Work closely with cross-functional teams, including AP, AR, FP&A, and Tax, to ensure alignment in financial reporting.
🔹 Support automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
🔹 Ensure compliance with corporate policies, SOX controls, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or DipIFR is a plus).
• 3+ years of experience in general accounting, R2R, or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
