Receptionist / Office Support Associate (contract)

Erasca is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on discovering, developing and commercializing medicines for the benefit of patients with cancer. Our programs take novel approaches to shutting down one of cancer’s most commonly mutated signaling cascades, the RAS/MAPK pathway, which affects approximately 5.5 million lives each year worldwide. Position Summary:  

Erasca is seeking a contract receptionist and general office administrative support person to support the San Diego office. This individual will greet visitors, stock consumables and office supplies, and support catering for office lunches and other events. They may also support employee onboarding and training, some facilities tasks, and provide general administrative and project assistance, as needed. 

This is a contract role, approximately 15 hours per week, and is required to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per week. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Answer Phone Calls & Door Notifications: Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, greet visitors, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff or department.  
  • Visitor Sign-In: Maintain a log of all visitors, issue visitor badges, and guide them to their correct destination.  
  • Reception Area Management: Keep the lobby or front desk area tidy, stocked with necessary forms or materials, and welcoming for guests.  
  • Breakroom & Office Supplies: Track inventory of kitchen essentials and office supplies, and reorder as needed.  
  • Catering Arrangements: Schedule meal deliveries for meetings, trainings, or corporate events. Assist with catering food deliveries and set up as needed. Set up conference rooms for meetings/lunches and clean up when meetings have finished.  
  • Printer support: Ensure printers have paper and that there are no errors on printers. 
  • Meeting & Event Coordination: Reserve conference rooms, set up technology (video conferencing, projectors), coordinate with presenters.  
  • Housekeeping activities, including running and emptying dishwashers. 
  • Receive, sort, and deliver mail. 
  • Provide domestic and international shipping assistance as needed (e.g., FedEx, UPS, etc.). 
  • Support the Operations team with inventory management. 
  • Perform general administrative or clerical tasks as assigned. 
  • Be an ambassador for Erasca and positively represent the Company’s mission and culture while providing a high level of service to both internal and external customers.  
  • Perform all duties in keeping with the Company’s core values, policies and all applicable regulations. 

Requirements:  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; current college students or individuals returning to the workforce are encouraged to apply 
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in an office setting; administrative or office management experience preferred 
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic 
  • Professional, proactive and customer focused disposition with an “of service” mindset 
  • Ability to interact with people from various backgrounds at different levels of the organization 
  • Proven experience managing time, multitasking, and working under varying deadlines 
  • Strong learning orientation, curiosity, and commitment to science and patients 

 

The anticipated salary range for this position is $27.00 to $32.00 dollars per hour. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etcetera.
