Essential Functions
- Request and monitor rebate requests for Eaton’s Vickers, Eaton, Charlynn, Duraforce, Aeroquip, Weatherhead and Hanson product lines.
- Interface with SunSource and Eaton Teams to determine specific products, quantities, competitors and discounts needed to customer to rebate to be competitive, using correct Rebate Scale for specific brands.
- Monitor monthly POS submitted to Eaton to determine that data files meet Eaton’s required content / format before submission. Correct as needed.
- Contact Eaton with all monthly rebate credit discrepancies, providing evidence proving our eligibility, in time frame allowed.
- Run daily reports for approved customers to ensure all eligible items on orders or quotes are approved by Eaton for rebate. Submit if not.
- Enter requests from SunSource Associates daily to request new OEM, Power Unit and Automotive rebates.
- Set up all approved rebates in Trend at appropriate levels using various Trend programs and change and/or delete expired rebates as required.
- Submit “New Customer” rebate eligibility requests to Eaton, including all required info, under proper Distributor Account #.
- Monitor approved/expired rebates at Eaton price changes as well as rebate renewals, expirations, changes at Eaton discretion (non-price change events) etc.
Experience, Education and Skills
- HS Diploma or GED
- Associates degree or better in related field is preferred
- 1+ years' experience in customer service, inside sales, or similar rebate coordinate role
- Ability to learn and recognize Vickers, Eaton, CharLynn, Duraforce, Aeroquip, Weatherhead and Hanson brands, model codes, and assembly numbers.
- Able to identify which SunSource territories New / Approved customers fall within: Pabco, SunSource, FPT, Warden, DJ or Callahan.
- Ability to differentiate between various types of Eaton rebate programs available: OEM, Power Unit, Automotive, Waste Management, etc.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills to include use of a desktop/laptop computer, MS Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
